A comprehensive definition of holistic health is an approach to wellness encompassing the body, mind and spiritual side of an individual. The approach would be like looking at yourself from a "whole" (holistic) point of view in order to understand your mind, body and spirit connection.

  • Are you willing to at least look at and challenge your current belief system about sickness, disease, health and healing?

  • Are you willing to try natural, alternative approaches to health and take responsibility for your own health and healing?

  • Are you willing to believe that your natural state is health and not disease?

  • Would you consider yourself a "glass half-full or glass half-empty person?"

  • Do you believe that marvelous things can and do happen to you?

  • Do you take time each day to feel grateful for the good things in your life or do you spend time feeling like a victim without even realizing it?

  • Do you believe that God, Infinite Intelligence or the Universe uses positive or only negative experiences to teach you and promote your personal development?

  • How do you feel about the way your body looks and feels? Do you spend more time hating your body than loving it?

  • Do you feel content and at peace most of the time?

  • Do you have faith or hope in a Divine Power, taking time to deepen your spirituality?
